Mike Lovett Knives

Just purchased a Mike Lovett custom knife and I looking to get some information on it. It's a Loveless design drop point (D2 etched on blade) with "For Ted Nugent" with Ted's signature logo also etched on the blade. It has very dark wood handle. I'm looking to find out how many of these were produced?
If anyone can follow up with any information it would be appreciated!

Mike is a damned good knifemaker but has disappeared over the last few years. I knew him, owned a few of his knives but don't know the history on yours. I don't think there's any contact information for him, maybe someone here knows the contact info for Louis Chow, he was a good friend of Lovett's and might know the history on yours.
 
Mike is an incredible knifemaker.

well John, I just bought one and I've seen another one that sold through Arizona Custom Knives. They both have different handle material , so I know there is at least TWO!
I need to find out!
I've spent a lot of time with Ted himself, so maybe next time I see him I'll have him sign my knife, an see if he knows how many were built!

That being the case, why don't you just send him a picture of your knife and ask him directly? Just asking.... :)

If Ted built the knives, he might know, but since Mike Lovett built them, I thought Mike would be a better source! On that note, I will ask Ted ,but I don't expect him to know for sure!
