One of my first and best knife scores from the Eugene show was a truly fantastic Barlow knife made by Mike Moran.
For those living in a remote jungle somewhere who haven't seen or heard of Moran knives, his work is among the absolute best out there!!!
Shown below is a beautiful Barlow with a clip blade and jigged bone handles.
It's not common to find a knife with such wonderful styling combined with perfect construction as seen below.

I'm glad I got to see and hold that nice Barlow briefly, and was sad to hear it was already sold!!! Congratulations Neal!! Nice work Mike!!

Great to see both those knives in person, That jigged Bone Clip is just simply stunning!

I hope Mike uses more the naturals such as Stag, Bone or perhaps Ivory to see if his battles against the ambient surroundings that challenge Mike can be overcome, maybe one day I can get to ask him to make a Stag Harness Jack.

That Jason Ritchie Knife shows just how quick Jason climbed up to the quality craftsman he is, that’s one heck of a knife.

Haven’t seen you around much Jason as we understand that life is extremely busy for you, but please don’t stop.

Wonderful showing of a couple of beauts there Herder 😊👍.

Thanks Invoice, and I hope you are fast on the draw for one.
Thanks Wharn, I've included the knife specs below.
Hey Charlie, we both scored some great custom Barlows in Eugene!!! And wonderful to handle your models as well.
Thanks GPO MAN, Peregrin, Campbellclanman, glennbad, Murphjd25, and Hatchet Jack. Mike sure makes a heck of a fine knife.

Mike does make a nice knife!! This one has a nice story - it is Mike's first Barlow, and was carried briefly by Mike!!First Barlow 1.jpg
Not a safe Queen, I will carry this knife to keep on the tradition that Mike started!! :)
