Now Paul Long has crafted a sheath for it and I got to have my way with it under the studio lights. It's an inspired piece of work by Mike and I trust folks won't object to seeing it again.

+1:thumbup::thumbup: Too much exposure is not possible. That fuller is incredible as is the package. VERY nice picture Buddy.

Nice photo. I never get tired of seeing this knife. After the fighter that Mike is finishing up for me now a dagger is the next one he will be making for me but with Mammoth ivory!

Great job on the pic Buddy Paul did a fine job on the sheath I was lucky enough to get to handle this knife in San Antonio and Mike deserves all the praise he is getting for this knife it is even better then it looks in the pic and it looks great.

Man, I never get tired of seeing his work! And to think I was up near his shop yesterday and couldn't make it over there.

I'd like to thank the owner of this knife for the extra effort he's gone through in having Paul make an amazing sheath and Buddy capturing it all in a spectacular image. I realize the financial burden involved in giving a knife this first class treatment and anyways just wanted to say "Thanks" to the owner and for all the kind words received.

Mike

That dagger is awesome!

Buddy

That montage is terrific, and I particularly like the shot from the handle down - never seen an image exactly like that before, and I think it absolutely captures the essence of the knife!

I never get tired of looking at Mikes work. Buddy great job of displaying, and the Paul Long sheath.

Beautiful knife and sheath. Dramatically shown, with perfect lighting on it.

Now I know how makers feel viewing Mike's work. I feel the same way about Buddy's shots:

I have to shake my head to realize I don't need to get upset because someone trumped me. Again. ;)

Bravo!

Thanks for sharing pics. What a great sheath Paul made for that one! Mike definitely did a stellar job on this knife!

I can imagine what Mike's MS test knives will be like. Really spectacular work, all three.

such an epic piece. I love daggers, especially perfect ones like this. There is absolutely nothing to add or take away. As natural as you or me.

I have to agree with Lorien's comments.
This has come to be the knife I think of when someone mentions your name. A coffin handle dagger with ladder damascus.
It is difficult to see the chatoyance in the photos, but seeing your ladder pattern in person makes it what I think of as an example of the best.
