Hello everyone!

How would you say that more or less eqaully priced folders of these to makers compare to each other's? My understanding is that Mr. Sanders has produced nothing but customs, while Mr. Henry (at least for the newer models) has gone semi-custom(?)

Please enlighten me about quality, performance and value for resale as far as the two makers are concerned.

Thanks in advance.

Best wishes,
Edalb

The WH knives are great quality. There is no Mr. Henry. William Henry is actually the middle names of the 2 owners. I can't really comment on the other makers knives because I haven't looked at them. I would think that long term, the WH knives would be a better investment and probably have easier resale. They definetely have a large following, similar to Chris Reeves knives. Hopefully someone with experience in Sanders knives will comment, I too am curious about the overall quality.

Holy zombie thread Batman !

I just bought a knife today from Mike Sanders. It was a relatively inexpensive one considering the average price on custom knives, but it's also a rather plain one and not real big. An excellent daily carry knife. I have knives by Benchmade, Kershaw, Case, Mcusta, Al Mar and others and I will say that the quality on Mike's knives are absolutely impeccable. This one is almost $100 less than the Mcusta I bought and it is every bit as smooth and solid. It's thin, light and has an excellent finish. The only thing I miss is a pocket clip, but I found a leather sheath with a clip that fits it perfectly and the knife actually slides in and out better than with a built in clip.
