My son and I met Mike at a gun show in Lexington,Ky and it was a great experience. This was the first time i had actually met another forum member in person. He had a booth set up to sell knives and his sheaths, but he more interested in knives than making a sale. If I hadn't just bought a Cold Steel Recon 1 the night before, he could have sold me anything. I loved his work. They were truly quality sheaths that i plan to purchase in the future. If you ever get a chance to meet him ,do it ! mike's personality and knowledge of sheaths, concealment and general knive uses will amaze you.

Mike does an amazing job with his sheaths. I had a REKAT pikuni with one of his concealex sheaths that worked flawlessly especially with the G clip.

I have a few of Mike's sheaths, including a neck sheath for a Spyderco Endura and a belt sheath for a ComTech stinger. He does great work and is a super nice guy. I ran a review of his stuff in my e-zine quite some time ago.

mblackfu,

Definitely enjoyed meeting and talking with you yesterday!1 It's always a pleasure to meet other Forum members and put faces to names. Give your father a "Thank You" for me. Next two shows are The Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot (Oct. 10-12) and the Indy 1500 (Oct. 24-26).

Phil & Saku,

Thanks!! The Pikuni is one of my all time favorite knives - "the little knife that could". Great Rob Simonich design! A while back I got a few that Bob Taylor found in his barn, and every now and then I'll make a sheath for one and put it on my table at shows. Outstanding performer in the field!!
