Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know what we been cooking up. I have been talking to Mike about this project for a little over a year now. Well, I guess good things come to those that wait. This is the Eroder. It is made out of D2. We will try other steels later on. Just wanted you to see. If you are interested let me know. Thank you.

Holy smokes !!
Damn Liong, I always knew you had good ideas in that head of yours, but you and Mike together, outstanding !!
Please put me first on what I believe will be a long list.
Donald :)

Very cool. I like it a lot, though I think I would prefer a slightly pointier blade.

Donald,

Thanks dude. I will make sure you get to play with one.

ZZen Dogg,

The Eroder is a Kerambit. The last finger hole is for the index finger holding it in reverse grip.

Brad,

Thanks man.

Burke,

The reverse Tanto tip is really strong and really pointy. It will do the job right.

Thank you all

Liong

If you are planning to produce these, even in limited quantities, please keep me in mind. This would be a very useful backup.

hehe.. not bad for a pastry boy.. lokos liek a tactical cake cutter! :D

as much as I diss you KNOW I lust for one Sul. Excellent work, and I hope to see it on the market soon!!! Is it time to kiss up to Snody to get one? :p

Nasty looking piece of steel. Good job Liong. I thought for a second there it was a tactical char sui bauw cutter! :)

Nakano

VERY nice Liong!

I've always liked the concept of the kerambit, but never seen a design that really grabbed me.

A couple questions though...

1. Why the grooves along the entire spine? Seems like on a Kerambit they'd be decorative only. (Or am I missing something?)

2. Is only the primary edge edge sharpened?

Ken,

The grooves on the top of the blade is for traction and grabbing. If you do a flip gunting the traction will hurt the opponent. The grooves are also for your thumb when using the blade in saber grip.

Only the primary edge is sharpen. It is chisel ground. A high flat ground so it will cut throught things easily.

Snipe,

This will cut a cake real nice.

Nakano,

I think it will dice up a char shiu pow good too.

Thanks guys.

AncientSUL
I love that design. I would be very interested. Please keep me informed. It was nice taking to you at the Blade Show.

That is Radical AncientSUL, great design and really great job Mike,
that looks hard to grind. Michelle sure had a lot of great things to
say about the Eroder. She said it blew her mind how secure it felt in her hand, said Mike had shown her all of the different ways to hold it and she was amazed at how hard it would be for someone to take it out of her hand. Michelle was very enthusiastic about the Kerambit and seemed very impressed by your design AncinetSul. I am scared to try to guess what Mike might come out with next.

  :D

DerekZ

Derek,

Great minds think a like:D It is extremely to get this out of someones hands once it is lock. And with the finger hole it is really secure. Mike and Michelle are the coolest.

Liong

Awesome piece.., thanks for posting the picture. I do like the angle of the pint actually (for reverse gripping)....very cool knife!

WOW, That is a mean looking knife. Mike I did not know you were even considering a Kerambit. Nice Design AncientSul. Ditto on Mike & Michelle being cool.
ShaneB

That knife grabs me more every time I see it. Mike , I just saw you in the new Tactical Knives bud.

DerekZ

One of the nicest renditions of a Kerambit I've ever seen. Looks like some serious defensive cutting power in a small package. How long is the edge?

Leo

My man did his homework on this one.

Blade length approaches four inches.

Thanks for your interest gentlemen.

I have been boned up lately, a little behind on responding to emails.

Regards,
Mike Snody

Shane- good to see you back brother.
Derek, thanks.

Sniperboy, what can I say? Hell of a shirt.
Liong- Kick ass pattern.
Zen,Nowhere,Leo-Thanks!
