Hi, How come I dont hear much about this maker? I just got a 5 inch Kwaiken it is awsome! And his prices cant be beat! Why is it we dont hear alot about him?

I think he is just getting out there, but a post like yours is the way to start.
I've been partial to his OverLord model but they were out at the time, wicked looking knife!

Hello- I bought a knife from Mike down at the SE Show (Siberian Claw), it's a fantastic, hooked fixed blade that hase'nt left my side. All of Mikes knives are top notch and the sheath on mine is great. It's a kydex but not with the crappy kydex piece to hook on your belt, but the adjustable metal ones. Also, Mikes prices cant be beat.
Pat at TAD had a nice selection of his blades a while back, but I don't know if there are any left, I think Les R. also has some on his site. Donald.

This maker seems to be one to watch out. I have never touched one of his knives but from the pictures they surely look good.
I am not sure but I think he is around on the Forums.

I just purchased and received one of Mike's 3 1/2" blade Kozuka knives. Very very impressive and the price was really reasonable. I like every part of it. My problem is that it looks so nice I am afraid to use it even though I know it will hold up to daily useage. I am going to purchase more of his knives in the future. GREAT STUFF!

I can say proudly that I have one of Mikes knives. I also have had the honor of photographing several more. All of his work is outstanding, leaving little room for improvement. But I can say that he is the type that will always try to make the next knife better than the last. I don't think anyone could go wrong by picking up one of his knives.

I was just looking through my new copy of Knives 2001 and see that Mike lives just about 15 miles from me. I can't wait to go over and see his knives. I am going to call him and visit him soon. I can't believe it.

Gentlemen, thank you for the post and thanks to all who have purchased my knives. I have recently completed a few knives that I am very excited about. Bg-42 "Explorers" that are their way to Tripleaughtdesign and Cpm 3v "Ronin" kozukas at Robertsoncustomcutlery. Bladeart will also be carrying several of my standard neck knives in Cpm 420v with upgraded handle materials such as mastodon ivory and mother of pearl. I am a part time maker and my work requires extensive travel throughout the US, Japan and Russia. One of the best ways to get one of my knives is from the sources listed above. Thanks again for the interest in my work. See you at the Chesapeake show.

I logged on at 3:45 am today, went to Triple Aught Design and ordered Mike's Karma Kubikiri Deep Blood. It was just too nice looking for me to pass up. I've been hearing a number of kudos about these blades. Mike's work just has to be pretty nice. Great website BTW.....

In my book, Mike was one of the great hidden discoveries at last years' Blade show.

Had the opportunity to meet him today at the Chesapeake show, very nice gentleman and the knives fit and finish were excellent!
He is getting into some CPM3V and I have a knife on order with that for the blade, probably be a while, he is getting quite popular and with that comes backlog, which can be a good thing!

A backlog with a maker is a good thing if you are at the top of the queue!! A reasonable length backlog is good for the maker as it means that they can eat.

Nowhere Fast: I liked the photo of your Siberian Claw so much, I just ordered one from Mike Snody. Maroon micata scales with bead blast finish on the blade. I also am ordering it with a black leather sheath. Now I can't wait!!!

I had a chance to meet Mike at the Chesapeake show. Nice guy with alot of talent. His table was filled with a really
diverse selection. Tacticals, cord wraps,
hunters and each one very clean.

Order soon he's getting very busy!!

jay- You're gonna love it. I carry that knife damn near everyday. That sounds like a cool combo (BB and maroon handle), if you can post pictures, then after you get it put one up, I'd love to see it.
Donald.
