Hi guys-
I sent an e-mail earlier, but figured you might see it here first.
Is it possible for me to modify my user name without losing my post count, or having to re-register? And if I have to re-register, would I be refused because I use ProntoMail?
I think I read somewhere that free-mail accounts were denied registration, but I think I was grandfathered in on that one.
Apparently, another member has decided to use a name very similar to mine- and although I have nothing against this person, I don't want credit for anything he/she might say- positive or negative. I hope you don't think me petty, it's just kind of annoying. Imagine someone posting as "Mike Turbor", and then signing their post with "Mike Turber". (and it's not you

I'm not going to ask this person to change, I'll do that part- but I really don't want to lose my post count, or more importantly, my registration date. I'm proud to have been around since just after the beginning. Plus, I don't want to get denied upon re-registration 'cause of my e-mail account.
Sorry if this seems very minor in the midst of what's been going on lately, just wondering what my options are. Thanks for your time.
