Dog Bone Art Dagger Take Down Style

Blade is 9.5 inch with modified flat double grind.
Overall length is 14.25 inch.
Blade steel is 0-1, L-6 high carbon tool steel.
Damascus pattern is fine lace.
Double guard is fine lace mosaic pattern.
Guard spacers are star twist pattern with file work and edge border cut sandwiched between german silver spacers.
Handle frame is fine lace forged, tiled out, turned sideways, and forged to shape.
Finial nut is stainless 416 turned and tapped then silver soldered to twist damascus milled down and checkered.
Handle is exhibition grade ancient fossil walrus ivory tusk.
Handle spacers are german silver coined and filed with vine and thorn pattern.
Handle rivets are german sheet silver domed and silver soldered together.
Extrusion plates are fine lace pattern with pins silver soldered for attachment.
It took 52 hand made parts to put this project together.

This is a sole authorship knife forged and hand crafted by Mike Tyre Custom Knives.

ABSOLUTELY this knife is Gorgeous. The pictures are great as well. This knife won Best art knife and Best of Show at the OKCA a couple of weeks ago. Well deserved!!
