This little gem just came this morning, it's a Mike Vagnino manual action P38. Of course Mike is known for his art knives as well as the original P-38, which is an auto. This P-38 has a 2.75 (2.5 inch cutting edge) inch CPM154 blade, stainless bolsters, titanium liners and jigged bone scales. Overall open is just about 6.5 inches. The fit and finish on this knife are absolutely exceptional, the opening action is one of the smoothest I've ever encountered. I'm definately happy with this one. Thanks to Neil at TNK for arranging another awesome exclusive.

That's a real nice looking piece. Congratulations.

I like the knife, but I have a question. Is that point as rounded as it looks, or is it just the photo?

Keith- Here is another picture.

My first post... :) Funny you should show that P-38. I was just gazing at a similar one at an online dealer's site. I love this knife without seeing it in real life. The one I saw was an auto with Sole Authorship Damascus Bolsters and Blue Mammoth Ivory Scales. Also quite gorgeous! Not sure about rules here but can provide more info by PM if anyone wants it.

Great score! I have several pieces from Mike - and fit and finish on each is flawless.

(As a charter member of the Anal-Retentive Marching Band & Historical Society, it hurts just to say that word. ;););) )
