This piece was based on a Tony Bose pattern called "Lanny's Clip" and it really turned out very nice. Mike has been known for his liner lock patterns and just recently started to make some of the traditional style slip joints. Keep an eye on this maker, his fit and finish is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

Looks like he nailed that one as well. I look forward to his two-blade patterns, which he said he would start on after this past weekend's Guild show. Thanks for posting the Lanny's clip.

Great knife, great pattern. Kudos to Mike. A good guy on top of being an excellent maker.:cool:

I think Mike does an excellent job on traditional knives. I agree with John, he is a maker to watch.

I was impressed too. Picked one up from Mike at blade and within 12 hours had ordered another one. To top it off Mike and his wife are awesome folks to get to know.
