Mike has recently started making slip joints and is turning out some absolutely fabulous work. As many of you know, Mike has been in the knife crafting business for some time but has only recently moved to "the light". :D

This is a Trapper that Mike recently completed for me.

Wharnie blade is CPM.
3 5/8" Closed.
Federal Shield and some very nice stag finish off the package.
Oh yeah, blade is nice and sharp.

The fit and finish are absolutely flawless. Action is smooth as butter and blade is tight and perfectly centered.

That's the second knife I've seen by Mike and it looks like he nailed both of them.

Dang, I'm getting serious knife envy today.

I think I might argue (for the sake of arguing only) that the handle pattern is more a "curved regular jack" or "clasp knife" than a "trapper" but it would be stunning no matter what you called it.

Rick, that is a beautiful knife ! Happy Easter,Thanks for showing it

That's a great looking knife! Congratulations!

I handled some of Mike's knives when he was visiting the Wilfred Works a while back. His folders are very nicely done and he's a good guy. It would be great to see more of his knives going to folks here in the forums.

Blues...I think this is the Bose WT pattern and he just rounded the butt over a bit more.

Well, everyone else has already said it, but dang that is some nice stag:thumbup:

Good score on that one, Rick

That's a beauty Rick! I had the pleasure of speaking with Mike recently...Great Guy!
He makes a flawless slip joint!
Zscherny Fan in Texas!

Yeah James, sometimes life gets in the way of my knives and knife posting. :D

Thanks to all for the comments. Am sure Mike will appreciate the positive feedback. This is one sweet knife with some very nice stag - A quality piece of craftsmanship by Mr. Zscherny.
