Very, very nice.

[But I must admit ... I've been using my own, original design BT4 for bushcrafty tasks for quite some time.:o]

I am with you on this one. The hardcore bushcraft guys don't like choils. I still prefer the standard bt4 myself. But what the hell do I know? I just remove steel from bar stock.

I'll just bet that if any of the so called hardcore bushcraft guys could get their hands on one of these they would soon change their opinions.

I may have to add one of these to go along with my "plain ole" BT-4. :D

I didn't even know that you had a BT4. I trust that the Mini Bowie is doing well :D

I got to handle Mikes BT4 yesterday and I have to say that it is a very nice design and I see many people liking it.

i agree with you Nate.. i think folks will definitely like this design.. it is simple yet elegant and the drop point blade and insanely sharp edge, lend itself well to most woods oriented chores..
so far, i am loving this thing.. :D i haven't been able to put it down all day...:o i'll have to get some of my pics up soon..

many thanks again Ban, for the BT4, the kiradashi and the ribs too (:D).. i appreciate it.. your work is amazing..:) we'll have to plan another get togethe soon..

Yep! Got lucky one night when you posted it. Seems like you had lost a list or something and didn't know who had actually placed orders. My good fortune! The Mini Bowie is definitely a slicer/dicer. Thanks for your creativity, excellent craftsmanship, and for just being in the "ring."

Must have a recurve next.

It wasn't even mine, and I couldn't stop fiddling with it yesterday :o:D It really is a prime example of genius in elegant simplicity. I like the choil-less version myself, but I've handled the standard one before too and wouldn't complain if I had one. We were thinking yesterday after you guys left, Ban, that you should call it the BT4.5 :)

I still prefer the standard BT4, but the choiless version is really starting to grow on me.

That is a great looking knife... congrats Mike... what kind of sheath are you pairing that bad bod with?
