I'm thinking of buying a MIKOV LEVER LOCK knife...........
I'm interested in members reviews........

never gotten one that was sharp yet. also grinds made putting an edge hard. lastly steel is so soft it won't keep a good edge very long. like the idea of them, more than the actual knives.....

I’ve had a couple in their “stainless” and everything you said is 100% true.

Then I got one in N690… It’s a completely different knife. Difference is night and day. It actually came decently sharp with a pointy tip. Lockup is tighter, construction is better all around too. It’s a solid knife that I’d have no hesitation carrying every day as a main blade.

The plain Jane model pales in comparison. They’re butter knife dull out of the box with rounded tips. Lots of play. It’s like those blades are made of cheese.

I have the N960 version as well. The knife fires very positive. Was sharp out of the box but the blade profile isn't really considered a slicer. The opening is a little slow but no need for a secondary safety. Easy DIY replacement of the springs.
I have the version with the pocket clip. Like the clip but it's not screwed in the handle so if you mess up the clip you need to drill out the pins or send it in. Carries tip down so something i don't like ( just my 2 cents).
Only real drawback imho are the plastic handles. They feel and sound cheap.
But nice quality for the price.

Thanks for the input........
I wanted another auto knife and thought I would see what forum members had to say.

Hi all!
got a new mikov predator recently, it only wants to open up 3/4 of the way, 10:30 area, unless i snap my wrist. it locks up then. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Ive tried graphite, really bad idea, then oiled after flushing out. No change really. I figure its probably the springs and it sat in the closed position for years, seems to be a bit tight at the bolster also, so I'm not sure what to think, anyone experience this before on these knives?

Get new springs. Lots of suppliers sell em. Super easy to install. I bet that’ll fix it.
