Mil HG 55

I'd bough a 6A mil. HG 55 & i'm waiting for it to arrive.

Does the deep groove on the Mil HG 55 make the edge weak or those have still enough tickness to be tough?

I'll see by myself but the waiting is always hard for me.:rolleyes:

the grooves on the CG look less deep,maybe i'd not choose
the most tough?

btw sorry if you find i'd start too much thread about the Mil HG 55
 
I own all 3,,,,,, LE , CG , and the Military-Overrun. The edge is plenty strong on them all,,,,,,,,, the only major difference is the tip is Very thick on the military overrun,,,,,which makes it very hard to damage. You made a good choice,,,,,wait till it arrives,,,,,you'll be happy !!!!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:
 
In fact i'm always worried about strength & toughness when it come to choose a knife but i'd never hold a Busse in my hands.:D
 
Here's a pic of my 3, HG-55's and as you can see ,,,, the bottom one (military overrun) has a very solid edge geometry and as I said before a bomb proof tip. It also arrived wicked sharp. You WILL love it . The other 2 are no slouches either,,,,,all variations are excellent!!!!!!!......... EH

When you get it, your concerns will be unfounded, plenty thick.
