Just got the sage/od G10 BATAC, thanks Skunk!!

I really like this combo and now I'm wondering how hard it is to find the desert olive ADs and Meaners? Can't say I've seen many if any on the exchange.

There should be plenty around from the miliganza with black micarta

If you don't see any on the forum just put up a WTB and you will get one

edit-thats all you will find(black) in a sage AD or Meaner....as far as I know, I do know they havn't made the sage/OD in either
 
Actually they have been around quite a bit. I think you can find a set pretty easy, Good luck!

I've seen the Sage/Black but there are a couple on BusseCollectors Ganza page that are listed as Desert Olive which looks different form the pictures I've seen of Sage blades but I'm not sure.

Don't know much about posting pics but here this got me to BCs picture. Hope he doesn't mind the link.

It's that background that makes the color different... "Sage" & "Desert Olive" are, if I'm not mistaken, the same color. Different lighing & background will seem to cause the color to 'change" somewhat. Where's lunde for an expert opinion? :D

Best way tell tell those Mil overruns is that they are all sterile... No Busse logo.

I'm no expert, but your dead on Jaxx:thumbup:

edit- lightly used set on page two in sales exchange, may be more father back. They made a good many so you'll have no trouble

Thanks Ken. Will have to see what's still up sometime next week. How do the kids put it, parents over shoulder, well my adult supervision walked by and the jig is up!! :eek:

I'll have to go underground after the holiday's and give the exchange a good read now that I know what I'm looking for.
 
sage=desert olive.

there were four combos of miliganza blades: meaner in sage/blk micarta, meaner in muddy/tan; ad in sage/blk, and ad in muddy/tan.
 
I just bought one off the exchange and stripped it this morning. It is my first strip job and it turned out nice. The BCS had them in stock earlier this week for $187, I paid $206 delivered on the secondary market. I had one in my basket for about a minute and then decided one was enough, but I wish I could have saved the $4 :rolleyes:. The "Competition Grade" finish is only a little better than the sage. I mostly just wanted to strip a Busse.
 
If you can't search for Sage/Black Active Duty, there's one on the exchange towards the top of page 3 for $190 delivered. I got the other one in that ad. I hope this doesn't violate any rules.

Thanks! Won't be ready to make a move until after the Jolly Fat Man has come and gone. I was mainly looking to make sure I knew what I was looking for before I started looking. Now I know it's a sage/black mac Meaner!

I really appreciate you guys getting me squared away!! Thanks for all the answers.
