Milan Mozolic folding knife

Great fit and finish, super thin behind the edge(and by thin I mean Opinel like). Smooth action with lighter detent(I like it but if you dont I am sure he can adjust detent strength for you), blade falls under its own weight.
Only thing that I would change is clip it is 3D milled and is hard to get into thicker pockets.
All in all well worth it in my opinion.

How much you pay for this?
what kind of steel?

I have commissioned one fixed blade from Milan, and asked for him to attempt a Hamon on it. He was successful and I loved the knife, built to my specs, very thin BTE, ran high in HRC and just a joy to carry, use and sharpen.

That being said, in an attempt of maintaining an indifferent opinion, I would search Milan Mozolic in the G,B&U section (linked below).

Is the blade sharp and tough?

Sharp yes, good with edge holding (for W2), but it is thin behind the edge and built as a slicer. This it isn't built to chop a tree, pry out nails or window sills, or wedge 2x4s, but if you want a thin knife that is ready to carry, looks good, and will cut what you need cut, it will do just fine as an EDC Slicer.

Due to this, I try to keep wood, plastics, cardboard and other softer substratum as my cutting board since harder contact with steel, ceramic or glass would likely cause a chip.

If I need to chop, I normally grab an axe or my Becker BK4. If I need a daily cutter, I will grab something ran a bit harder and thinner BTE. No need in having my daily knife make my cuts harder.

I have a similar piece from him in the same steel. It rusts if you look at it sideways but overall a pretty cool knife.

Though his blades are usually thin behind the edge, his W-steels are quite tough from my experience (6" Hunter model), probably due to a combination of proper heat treatment, convex grind and narrow bevel.

I don't know what his prices are right now but lets say it was good value, please keep in mind that I am from Czech republic and he is from Slovakia and I payed in CZK.

This one is made of RWL34(I requested this steel).
