Well as some of you may remember I lost my Swiss Army Executive knife
a while back, it was a black one I had for several years.
I also lost my AmiLite flashlight, one of the best one's I've ever owned
man I was ticked for misplacing that!!
Luck would have it, our IT guy had my knife setting on his desk in front
of his monitor, I asked 'where did you get that?? he said he found it,
must have been in a laptop bag I returned and didn't notice it was in there!
Then this morning I was in Windsor CT and opened my tool back to get a pair
of cutters to cut some steel banding and what do I find laying at the bottom?
My flashlight!!! WOW I'm mildly happy, I had replaced the one knife already
with a red one, no black ones in stock at the time. But was lacking finding
a suitable flashlight replacment!
It's the little things in life that can cheer you up!
And recently WrayH had sent a Christmas package out to me on Dec 17th
or so last year, it never showed up, so he went way over the extra step and
made a new packaged filled with goodies again and that made the trip.
And here it was in late August, THAT package he first sent shows up!!!
with a letter from the post office apologizing for this untimely delay. It seems
that the Post office used a company called Kitty Hawk Inc for transportation
and just found it in a cargo area in the Philly airport! WOW very strange eh?
So, mildly happy, not overly happy as I'm still traveling alot, leaving tomorrow
for Clearwater FL again...
