Mildly polished 561 and Skyline

Got bored this afternoon, so i got out a rag and started rubbing. 3m rubbing compound, then blue magic metal polish.

Looking good! Adds class to them IMHO. Did you take them apart first?

Yes, I took the blades out of both knives first. Seemed to work fine. It would be pretty easy to get both to mirror finish, however i find that makes a blade "sticky" (for lack of a better word) feeling when cutting through something thick.

Did you notice it felt smoother to open after polishing the pivot area? Mine sure did.

A small difference in the 561. The skyline has always been buttery smooth. Due to my junky camera, the shine on either knife didnt nearly come through. Oh well
