I was around a spell, disappeared for a time. Got busy, forgetful, involved in, well , my own world. Been selling well at the Tucson fossil show. Some new directions with knives. Refining the working of D2 steel, which seems to be my favorite. Creating sheaths from my own materials like mammoth ivory and my own treated wood. Works especially well on smaller neck knives. Been creating videos, new and fun thing, great way to 'share,' and promote. I have a couple of 'how to,' and ideas for more. I have one out on U-tube grading fossils, slecting and treating, stabilizing for handles, how to work with 'defects' cracks soft spots. I am not the best at it, but done it a lot of years and sharing my unique way mostly without a lot of spendy equipment, so hopefully useful ideas for others. Still learning how to handle video and like how I'd post it share it here, but will get to it! Anyhow "Hello" to those I used to chat with
