I know these are three completely different knives, but if you were to chose one, which one would you prefer?

Eagle is my favorite out of those. (It's kinda different than the other two btw, it's light -medium use)

Just picked up my first Military. It's one hell of a knife. The handle fits my hand like a glove and that long slim blade slices like no ones business.

Another vote for the Millie! Hard to beat the design...but I'd prefer it came with a low rider clip from the factory.

Eagle, less than half the weight of the millie and a very slim carry for the same blade length.

Military. Great slicer, great ergos, not too heavy although the handle is generously sized...carries smaller than you'd think. I particularly like the fact that it's one of the few knives I can easily use with gloves, but it's also a warm weather star.

Military is probably the best selling production knife IMO, and it is that for a good reason. Cant go wrong.

all 3 are GREAT choices...but for me it's the HEST...thin knives are everywhere and i don't have to pay $100+ to find one...at this at this level and class i want a stout blade...

Now that the military seems to be the favorite, would you prefer the military or the police version?

Ill go with the HEST on this one, with the military very close though.
but can't really compare those two, one is a wonderful slicer, and the other is a 'cool little tough knife'.
as for the Al Mar, i don't have it, so i can't really comment on that, but it does look nice, classier than the two above.

They aren't versions of each other; they are completely different knives: different lock mechanism, different blade steel, different blade length, different blade orientation, different liners, different pocket clip and clip attachment points, and different sizes.

I know this, I should have used a better word than "version". I know that one is a linerlock and the other is a lockback, I was just asking for an opinion on which one would you guys prefer.

No worries. I didn't mean to come across as offensive, I just wanted to point out that they are very different knives.

Between the two I'd choose the Military over the Police. The negative blade angle and higher end steels available on the Military make it one of my favorites. I should really get around to doing a review on it.

I prefer the HEST, although not as smooth it definitely has features I like more(deep carry pocket clip, thick frame-lock, pseudo-wave, and stout blade). I just wish it came with phosphor bronze washers instead of nylon.

So the Military is different than the Police? Haha! :)

Seriously, I own both and I prefer to carry my Military over my Police. In my opinion, the Military is easier to carry (especially inside the waist) and it fits my hand better.
