Military 2 CF S90V available SFO

I had a in stock email from knifeworks. Mine is on the way. All the other sites I looked at showed it was out of stock.
 
Seems to be widely available at Spyderco & major dealers at the moment.

No discount to OpFocus members from Spyderco but available at MAP discount from dealers.

Don't really "need" it but just ordered 1 from KWks at MAP w/free shipping & no sales tax. :cool:

You guys know im a die hard Military fan. Tip down one position clip and a linerlock FOREVER!!!!

Ive handled the M2 multiple times at my local shop and everytime I just cant do it…

This is the one I said I would buy and it was in my knifeworks cart a few minutes ago and I just cant press buy now.

Is it the $300 price?

Is it the fact that it has a 4way hourglass clip? (which isnt a bad clip, but isnt the contoured triangle clip)

Is it the compression lock?

Or is it that I am afraid it will make my 10 other millies obsolete?

I cant say!

Maybe all of them.

I’m in the same boat as you. I have multiple liner lock Millies and love them just the way they are. The best liner lock there is and very unique pocket clip with only one orientation.

Is the liner lock/triangular clip Millie still in production?

I’ve got many of the original Millies and love carrying them, Especially the St. Nick’s 4V version. I bought the satin black G10 M2 when they first released and can honestly say I haven’t warmed up to it. Added Micarta scales and milled clip which I like better, But still not satisfied. I’m planning on some titanium scales soon , maybe I’ll enjoy those. That being said, I’m a sucker for Spydercos CF S90V Golden pieces. 😎

I wish they offered in anything other than s30v, not my favorite folder steel. S110v is a little chippy for how thin I like my edges. I try and wait for exclusives to pop up in the exchange.

I collect Millies but don't carry them because I like the design but they feel "too big" in my pocket. 🤷‍♂️

I currently have 9 Millie 1's -- 6 liner locks (2 of them 1st Gen 2 screw clip models) & 3 Ti frame locks (which I think were all Sprints).

Just bought the Millie 2 S90V CF Sprint & also just bought a regular S30V Millie 2 to pair with it.

I like collecting knives in pairs or trios.

So, I was holding off buying a Millie 2 until the S90V CF Sprint was released & now I will soon have 11 Millies but (based on what I've seen before) this pales in comparison to the size of the Millie collections of other BF members. ;)

An OG Millie with S45VN or Magnacut would be awesome, Though we’ll probably never see one. I’m going to buy another black out S30V and S110V in the near term for backup! I bet the Military will be on the discontinued list in the next few years unfortunately.
 
Magnacut and Carbon Fiber OG would be sweeet. Ide really love CPM 3V and carbon fiber

Ive got Standard S30V, Blackout S30V, Lefty, REX45, S110V, M4/Ti/CF franken-millie, S90V Ti/CF. Only have one of each of my sprints after selling the multiples to fund another project, but want a backup blackout and a backup S110V as well. I too fear they will discontinue the standard at some point. Sal says they dont plan on it though.
 
CF and S90V is a classic, timeless combo.

I have one on the way because it will be much more expensive later when the regret kicks in... I felt that pain when I missed out on the original M1 CF S90V and PM2 CF S90V.

I see the M2 as a PM2 XL, which is not a bad thing.

I ventured into Spyderco about the time the Fluted and CF/TI frame locks were available at a discount..couldn’t resist! I still think the Fluted Millie (CQI version) is the best example of what the Golden Factory can produce. I hope Spyderco keeps the OG around, but with its extra cost (over M2) and lack of exposure to newer buyers…???
 
Agreed… I tried the Millie after the PM2 came out. I liked the PM2 design and wanted a bigger knife and didnt much like the compression lock. Im lefty and yes, while many lefties have no problem with the compression lock, I just didnt like it.

I took to the regular millie like a fish to water. I love with the “simple perfection” of the military At one point I may have had nearly 30. I regret selling my duplicate S90V CF/ti and my 204p green g10 the most. I never grabbed a fluted ti when they went on clearance because of the little squared bump at the lockbar base. Aesthetically it bugged me. Im an idiot for not buying one. I will probably regret not getting an S90V m2 but whatever. I could put an intake on my truck for the cost of that knife. I should get a regular M2 first.

I mostly carry the lefty and have at least 2 bnib as backups. If that was the only knife i ever owned ide be good with it.

I remember when a regular millie and even some sprints were sub $200.
