By the way, more knives should have clips that follow the curve of the handle.

Is the black appearance of the Military clip just a scanner artifact, or do you have one of the long-awaited subdued clips?

I think that the Military clip is a good start, but oh so much more could be done with clip ergonomics. This is an area that needs to be explored much more thoroughly than it has in nearly two decades of clips, IMO. It is encouraging that Spyderco will manufacture a clip specifically for one knife (Military, Starmate, Al Civilian, Provenator, Spur), because this will be necessary for truly comfy clips, I suspect.

James-Great scan. You read my mind, I was just wishing for new wallpaper with a Military theme!

BTW- I just noticed something-You`re AKTI Member # SA00001...What`s an "SA" AKTI number? And how`d you get to be number 00001?

Just curious.

AKTI

The "SA" stands for "Silver Associate," referring to the dues level that various small donations I've sent in added up to.

The "00001" probably refers to me having been going to organizing meetings at knife shows, phoning and e-mailing the organizers to make a virtual pest of myself

, and saying "When can I sign up?" from before it was even incorporated.

Ok, that's a Ladybug on top. What's the little critter on the bottom? A Pegasus C61? Thanks for this weeks wall paper, James.
