military busse knives

I wonder the same because it seems like a good excuse when blades are late .
Im not just talking about Busse but i have heard it hear a lot that they are that busy producing blades for the forces and thats why the wait etc.
BRKT are another one or at least there customers are who use this as a reason for long production times.
I think its great that they do give the military these expensive fine knives but i dont buy into the fact that there that busy equiping the troops that they cant get a blade out in time that has usually been paid for in advance by the customer.
Its going to be hard winning anyone over if thats the case put to you even though they have your cash.
Also i wonder who gets these knives from the military as i would hope its those on the front line rather than some high rank pen pusher that thinks they are supperior to the basic soldier on the front line.
Either way i am nothing but glad to see these companys do what they do by giving something back to those that need it most and risk there ass for ours.

Gus is queer??? His wife is a bigfoot too!

Gooney-goo-goo!

Lots of private orders for blades. As it should be, Jerry stops all commercial production for our troops. Sometimes it's a custom blade. Other times it's a special order of a production blade.

Anyone ever spotted a Busse military production blade for sale by a vet anywhere?

Did you call me a queer? WTH!!!! :p

I am by no means an authority on the subject but the only blade that we seem to have that information about is the "Embrace the Suck" Satin Jack Tac. This was produced for PSD Team Delta and later released by Jerry and Busse Combat as a kind of a fund raiser for that Team so that they could continue their good works projects of helping the locals in Afganistan during their off duty hours. For more info, try searching this forum for "Embrace the Suck".
Then, IIRC and according to Rumor Central, the Mole Jack was supposed to have been produced for a special team/ unit of the IDF, identification and mission unknown.
Also, from one of the "sticky"s at the top of this forum, under Acronyms and Definitions, you'll find "Military overrun knife designations" with a bit more info. I'm sure that there is more out there but whether or not anyone can or is willing to share it is another matter.
As to a question raised by THESE NUTZ, while I'm sure that some REMFs carry blades and other weapons that they'll never use, I imagine that most of the blades that Jerry turns out for military use are commissioned or selected by units that actually need and use knives that are extreme duty capable. Those folks tend to work quietly and seldom if ever talk about what they've accomplished, except amongst their own.
Just my $0.02. Pete

Watch out for Aunt Bunny...I'm sure she'll be along to quiet this top secret info...

There are several images of our troops with Busses as part of their gear and one strikingly beautiful soldier proudly displaying her Busse.

I'm sure someone has links to existing images and I have a few on my computer but here are some links to proof of Busse's presence the front lines. I'm sure nick681 is in there somewhere.
