I have a Spyderco Military I need help identifying

The box is marked C36CFBGP but I cannot find this knife listed on the Spyderco website. The closest I can come is the C36CF90 Spyderco Military Carbon Fiber S90V. What is the C36CFBGP?

Additional Info:
The obverse of the blade is marked:
Spyderco
BG-42

The reverse of the blad is marked:
Golden Colorado
U.S.A. Earth

you have a bg42/carbon fiber sprint run.

that is the correct model number, but since it has long since been discontinued, it no longer shows up on the website.

It was a sprint run made in plain edge only, no blade coating and carbon fiber grips. IIRC, it introduced the liners on both sides too.

The BG42 blade is a high quality stainless steel known for its purity and is a well respected steel that is rarer and rarer in knives now.

Definitely one of the best versions of the millie, and will sell well to spyderco enthusiasts and users due to it's quality. There were around 1200 of that version made, and sold new at the bigger and better online knife stores for a bit under $200. MSRP was higher.

If you are good at sharpening you will enjoy the edges the knife is capable of taking. It is also pretty wear and corrosion resistant, and pretty tough as far as stainless steels go. I wouldn't do much prying, splitting wood, or using it as a screwdriver with it, or any other folding, high quality knife.

Enjoy. It's one of the best ever made in it's class IMO. Joe
