Military dress uniform watch

Hey guys, been off the forums for a while due to my trip to RTC Great Lakes that started back in May. Graduated a few weeks ago and life is good as a fresh sailor. Currently I'm at Fort Sam Huston for corpsman A school.
I'm in the market for a watch that would look nice with my NSUs as well as my dress whites and blues, I've never been into watches so I don't know where to begin. I'm partial to leather bands and black faces. Also I'm on that E3 budget so my limit is $300 at the most. Any help and or recommendations are appricated! Thanks guys!
 
Trust me, save your money for a really nice watch you can wear any time, not just in uniform.

Or movado. My buddy bought one after rss. It's really nice

I wore upscale watches (even had a lovely $$ Girard-Perrigault for awhile) for 40 years until I realized that cheapie throwaway Timex quartz jobs are similarly accurate but leave no apprehension at all about loss/breakage/theft.
$300 will get you a 'best' Timex, an upgrade wristband and taxi fare to top off a serious night on the town. The gold watch thing you can start thinking about in another 30 years.
