got a euro 4 in the mail today! what an awesome CHUNK of infi!
mic's at about .275-.280. much thicker than my 1/4" sj!
5" blade(from micarta) 10.25" overall, super pointy penetrator tip, black crinkle, mirror polished spine and around the handle. sterile. might be my new favorite.
weighs almost exactly what my 1/4"sj weighs, tho it's an inch and a quarter shy
is this not a cg tanker a? does anyone have the specs for the tanker a? is that (.275") the standard thickness, or did i score a fatty?

ps, serious pain in the ass to get from busse deutchland tradeforums, but biggers aka bernd speaks superb(ok, pretty good ) english, and i know like 7 words in deutch (that's one of em). so thanks to bernd (biggers) utmost patience a deal was struck and the transaction smooth as can be, thanks to some leftover euro$ from my last trip over yonder. exchange rate kinda bites right now.
shipping cost 40 bucks and took almost a month.

I may need to re-evaluate strategies related to you buying knives.
It may already be to late to save you from your addiction.
So,,, You might as well go ahead and buy them all and die happy :)
Maybe Broke or Deeply in debt,,,but Happy,,,(It worked for me,,,I still say I can quit any time, I only got one last week)

wegen Sammlungsauflösung verkaufe ich ein Ende letzten Jahres gekauftes Euro Combat 4, aber ohne Scheide. Die dazugehörige Scheide gehört zum Basic- Modell. Schicke ich bei Bedarf aber für lau mit. Das Messer ist nie gebraucht worden, lag nur in der Vitrine.
all i understood before i bought the knife was "euro combat 4". :D
 
Here's the translation:
"Due to the dissolving of my knife collection I'm selling a Euro Combat 4 that I bought at the end of last year, but without sheath. The sheath that I have is for a Basic model and I would include it for free upon request. The knife was never used, only lay in the display case"

Congrats! The Euro 4 does Rock! I love mine and have beaten it up quite severely. Take it and use it it packs a lot of punch for it's size.

yeah, guys this is defenitely a user. even though she's minty, i got such a GREAT deal on this blade i must carry it and use it. i'm not sure what for, though.
i think it would make an excellent tactical/duty/entry knife as i'm sure neither crate nor door would stand up to this sucker.
maybe i'll use it as a splitting wedge :D
 
It seems on the early INFI pieces .270~ is pretty much standard, at least on my SHSH/SHBM's/MS. Fatty's are .3+. Still, very chunky INFI.

update: euro 4 has drawn blood. wow that's the pointiest penetrator tip. :(
