Military Field Medical Packs?

Hey, folks,

The corpsman for my buddy's East Coast SEAL Team has been tasked with searching for and evaluating medical packs for usage on ops, and I thought I'd ask for recommendations from the folks here. I know Eagle and some of the others make them, but what I need are manufacturers and websites -- any and all you can think of, to give them to help out. They deploy to Iraq in January.

Looking for medical packs specifically, not other types of packs that might double as one.

I also posted this in Wilderness & Survival.

Thanks much in advance for the help,

Brian.

we use quite a bit of conterra's packs here for SAR ops with local rescue squad. pretty well made stuff and i believe most of their models come in some type of military or tactical type format. here's the link:

and thanks for helping our bravest.

Thanks for the link Shanshui.

Anything I can do to help our brothers come home safe I will do.

Best,
Brian.

Another strong endorsement for Conterra products.

Rick Lipke, the president of Conterra is a switched on guy who has been making modular medical carrying systems for operators for years.

He makes stuff for the FBI HRT, and Air Force STS, plus he's receptive to customizing his products for his customers.

Combine his med. bag carrying systems with some Aloksaks and you're good to go.

I have been using his stuff for ten years and it's held up great.

Conterra is good stuff. We use Pacific and Thomas Transport Packs at work. Sorry I don't know if they have sites.

Their medical packs, esp. the one with the pull out clear pouches, are good gear.

Rgds.,

Thanks again everyone for the help!

Sam, what part of CT are you in? I live there myself.

East Coast NSW guys should be familiar w/ London Bridge Trading stuff. (VA Beach)

Thanks, Rugger,

Yeah they are familiar with a lot of stuff, but I offered to help them assess what's new, latest and greatest, etc. on the market. I've touched base with some manufacturers personally, too. Some of my efforts might be redundant with theirs, but I want to do all I can do to help them speed up the process, take less time doing so, and make sure they have info from all possibilities.

Thanks for taking the time to reply everyone. You are definitely contributing to making things better for our soldiers at war.

Brian.
