I just received these from Ragweed Forge. They used a high carbon content steel for these rather than stainless and come in a military style plastic sheath. They were sharp when they arrived but after a couple of passes on my Spyderco TriAngle they became shaving sharp. One of these is going to live in my car and the other with my grab and go bag. I think they are a great value for the money, may have to get a few more for family members...and a couple for my kitchen as well.

Great knife! Mine was used to carve this years Jack O' Lantern. I also use it a lot around the house for simple cutting jobs.

Those are awesome knives!
I have one in stainless and used it as my yard and garage knife (household cutting chores) for many years.

I did seriously ding and chip the blade ~1" from the tip a few years ago, but sharpened most of it out.
Still use it frequently and despite not being a carbon steel blade, it takes and holds an edge quite well.

Excellent purchases you made - enjoy!!!

Regards,
Mike

I bought the same knife. They are excellant. I have also picked up a Brusletto blade that is an Americanized fighter that is SUPERB! That one is s.s. These knives I think offer very huge bang for the buck imho. keepem sharp

I was issued one of those when I did my national service back in -91. I got one with the homeguard in -97 and I have used lots of them. I think you will have a hard time finding any swedish houosehold that doesnt have at least three Moras lying around. All just sharper than screwdrivers :) You rarely see a swedish person sharpening a Mora, they just toss it in the junk pile and buy a new one for about 2 bucks :) Hultafors even sells them in boxes of 100 without a sheath.

I have one like that in stainless that is my tackle box knife. I have even fileted a few catfish with it.:D
