Hi you all !

I just got my second spyderco knife.. a military ctsxhp:cool:

looking at the pivot and the washers ? ( i dont know if i get the terms right) i dont know how to put a lubricant between the tang and the handle scales.. any tips ? thank you

If you have a Tuf Glide, it comes in a micro tip applicator. Just close the knife and then apply lubricant to both sides of the pivot (between the liners). If you do not have such an applicator, you can just apply any lubricant in the same fashion and work the action (open and close the knife). The lubricant will work its way through the pivot area.

I've never felt the need to lube my Millies. I keep them clean and dry, and they work easily forever.

Use

Oil lightly and repeat.

The blade is very stainless, my tip is to leave the knife alone. Don't take it apart, don't try to make it "better", don't adjust it, don't grease it, leave the knife as it is. If you insist on cleaning a non dirty knife, ...
Wash it in a tub of warm soapy water, open and close the blade carefully while it is under water. Rinse the knife in cold clean water, use canned air to remove excess water. There really should be no need to oil/grease the pivot.

i like to take apart my orange millie and give it a good cleaning and take my marine tuff glide and give it a very nice rub down. put it back together give it a sharpen and its incredible!
