Over the past weekend I took a 5 hour journey to northwest New York with the intention of hunting. We went on a game ranch (not much sport) mostly for the meat, but hade a little fun while we were at it. By the first day we were all tagged out; now came the prospect of gutting out our kills. My job was to gut out my friends 850 pound bison which he had taken with a muzzle loader earlyer in the day. To make a long story short my Military did the job very well. It is pretty new so it still basically had the factory edge. As i was nearing the end of the job my Milie was still holding up great, and by the time I was done the blade was still sharp enough to shave! As I was drenched in bison blood I didn't clean the knife out untill the next day, but when I did it was a breeze. It was immaculate in about 15 minutes. Conclution: This knife does what it is intended to do and does it well; what elso would you expect from Spyderco...
