This is knife I made for one of the Dutch soldiers who is going to Afganistan the end of this month. ATS34 blade, OD gunkote finish, tapered tang, G10 bolsters, black micarta scales.
the sheath is made by Blackhawk, I thougt this would be better than my standard kydex or leather sheath.

I hope the customer will use it alot.

That IS fantastic!! I am sure the new owner is going to be thrilled with it!!

That is terrific!
It's mean looking and beautiful at the same time.
Were you influenced/inspired by any particular design you'd seen?

Man, it's really, really nice. Congratulations.

Well it's not a particular design I've seen elsewhere but it's more a combination of models. I really love the bowie profile. the bowie knife has it all. It's a great utility knife, excellent fighting knife, so the best of both worlds. I took the handle of my outdoor knife no.2 and modified it a bit. I made it a bit larger so one would have more room to grip it when wearing gloves. On the butt there is a tiny "skull crusher" to break a window if necessary. I gave the whole knife a bit of a racy look, because that's what I like to see. I'm sure there are things on the knife that are similar to other knives, it's hard to be completely original. It's just designed to be used, alot.

Greetings Toni

It's very unique to my eyes and looks extraordinarily well made.

Thanks for the info!
