Does anyone have a few pictures to post of their military in used or new condition? I would like to see visually the changes over time that have come to this model. I have never seen the "new" clip only the old 3 hole diamond style with the pivot screw in the middle. Also never seen one without the finger ridges underneath. SWEET KNIFE just that I would like to see more of em.

Mr. Glesser, A mini-Military model would probably see some incredible sales for spyderco, and you wouldn't even have to mess with the handle thickness or any other changes other than shortening the blade a bit (leave the thickness the same) and the back end metal spacer up a touch, and lose the excess g-10. The knife is as thin as a mini-afck even in it's current full size state, and not too wide either. Just an opinion you have heard dozens of times before, IMO a mini-military might turn out to be one of the best selling Spydees ever. Great job.

Hi JC. The original Military version was on both the front and back cover of a Tactical Knives magazine from some years past. They show most views.

The current model has the three screw around the pivot tip down model. We're planning some redesign over the next year but we've not decided on which lock to use. We've got the linerlock down very well on the current model. We also have the "Compression Lock" and some new locks in the works at Spyderco R&D.

I'm pushing for a smaller Military proto before Blade Show. The design is complete. 3.25" blade, Compression lock, G10 scales. But R&D and prototyping is pretty busy right now, so though overall progress is good, individual model progress is slower.

Hi Sal!
Any chance of seeing full size military's in VG-10?(he asked hopefully)It is a great steel and Spyderco does this steel very well. I have 6 other VG-10 Spydercos and I'm sold on it.
