The attacks on our freedom Tuesday morning shook us all up. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families, and to all of the Americans and others who will put their life on the line to stomp out the perpatrators and those who support them.

Due to these extraordinary circumstances in these extraordinary times I am giving all my production, as small as it may be Military preference first, law enforcement second, all other orders third. This will upset some of my customers who have been waiting a long long time anyway, and expect some cancellations because of it.

Also, anyone who would like to sponser a knife to go to a soldier in need can do so buy buying the knife and having it shipped to the soldier of their choice. I feel in this small way we can maybe make a small difference in the outcome of the comming war.

I have a new combat knife design that I will be concentrating on for this project, CAD is being done as we speak to utilize laser/water cutting teqniques to speed production. Ill post pictures as soon as I can. Thanks, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Good Thoughts Rob. Great idea~

This shows the type of person you are Rob!

Not to seem like a follower, I will offer the same !

All civil servants also! EMS FIRE PARA ect.

After sleeping on this I have decided to add that I will offer a discount to all military and police.

We as the people of the USA need to unite in this time of attack on our way of life.

This is not a time to make a windfall from this sad event.

There is more to this conflick than meets the eye. I feel there are more than just one group invoved here.
After thinking about what has happend, I am glad our leaders have decided to keep ther heads about how to deal with this EVIL that has declared war on us.

GOD BLESS THE USA

A fine idea, and simply the right thing to do. Good luck and God Bless.

Rob, thank you for your thinking of us in uniform as our thoughts and prayers go to those in NYC and those in DC as well as their families and friends. I'm sure your knives when put in the right, capable hands will do great and wonderful things for this great nation.
Take care.

100% behind you, Rob. Every bit helps. Any thoughts on how to find some military people to buy a blade for, if one doesn't have someone already?

Good for you Rob. I hope you are wrong about people getting upset about having to wait a little longer. If they don't realize the importance of what you are doing, then I guess that is their problem.

To the erstwhile parachutist. Not trying to be a smart arse or anything but you spelled your handle incorrectly. The german parachute regiments were Fallschirmjaeger, not as you have spelled it. I would have e-mailed you but you have no e-mail address available.Auf Wiedersehen.

JohnG, thanks for asking. You could ask for people on this link to speak up and then ask them to send you a copy of their military ID Card or you could go to the local VFW and ask for them to also get involved with a project like this. I'm sure through them and this web site alot of deserving people will go forward with worthy blades and not lowest bidder ****.
The guys at the VFW could give advise on who to give the knife to, with priority going to the guys at the sharp end of the spear, prob a young enlisted guy who prob dosen't make the money to buy a good knife and feed his family at the same time..just my 2 cents. Thanks and take care.
DocMac, I thought this was a link to get good knives into good hands, not a SPELLING BEE.Maybe it's all those hard landings catching up with me.

Whoa there paratrooper... he was just being helpful. Let me know if you want to change your username to the correct spelling, it's not a problem. And watch for sky sharks...

Kevin

Hey, sorry about that..my blood is up way past a fever pitch and I got this itchy trigger finger and no place to scratch it.
Spark...sure go ahead and change it. Thanks and sorry again if I changed the mood on this great thread.

I think that Rob has come up with a great thought.

I'm too durn old to join the Military and go help kick some ass, so this is one way I can also help. I will also give the Military preference first, Law Enforcement and Firemen/women (full time
and volunteer) second, all other orders third. In the past I made IMO several good sheath knives. I plan on pulling out those masters and make as many as needed.

Stay Safe,
A.T.

Great call Rob!

As a second note, how about we strap a knife to each of those Tomahawk missles and send the 'towel heads' a bit of their own?

I have often thought this would happen one way or another. We are PROUD to stand with you in this time of war my friends, please don't forget to let us help. You don't need us, but please don't forget us!

Democracy is in need of support, we will stand tall and say NO to weakness and terrorism as we have for years with the IRA.

Best of luck.

From a Brit.

How about adding EMTs/Paramedics on your list next to Firefighters? Just a thought.

I've already reinstated my military and police discount. I was trying to figure out how to go about taking donations to supply a team {SEAL or Special Forces}.

I think we have to register with the government or something, so we can be checked out. have it all nice and legal. Does anybody know?

I just want to say that the knife makers & knife nuts on this forum are a Class Act. We all want to see the knives stuck in the right people at the time of our choosing. God bless America.

Discounts right now are very well needed, I always tell people to give till it hurts, then give a bit more. No wonder my wife is always after me to work harder! :)

In my case, rather than a discount per se, I am making a model of Combat Knife that will be sold at a reduced price to Military personell, and Law enforcement. So I guess that is a discount! It amounts to about 25% in my case. Triple Aught Design had the prototype of this knife and the feedback on it has been great and my own testing of the design went well for its intended purposes. A rather poor picture is attached. Here is a link to a better picture on Triple Aught's web site.http://tripleaughtdesign.com/tanto_prototype.htm The CAD drawings are almost done, and I am getting these laser cut to speed production.

God speed to our Military, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Personell!

I agree. Do you still make the Dispatcher? In my eyes it had what it takes to be a great field knife.

Great idea guys. Bravo.

One thing to remember, back in D.Storm, a lot of the troops wer prohibited from carrying overly agressive or large knives, mainly because of 'image'problems.

I believe the men and women who go in harms way should have whatever they want/need to complete the mission and come home safe.

But I don't write the rules. While a foot long bladed bowie, or super badass pure combat knife might be prefered, they may not be allowed.

A good all around knife (like the Dispatcher) can still help accomplish the mission.

Then again, you guys have been at this a lot longer than me, so what do I know.

The going blade length, that doesn't cause any problems with the rules, Is 7". You know Kabar size. I've been dealing with the military a while now.
