Military S30V first impressions

Thanks to Roger over at Bayou Lafourche Knife Works, knifeworks.com, I have my very own Military now, in S30V no less. Initial impression is that the blade is actually a little smaller that I expected, I guess that is because of the large amount of handle. The Endura I have been carrying has a more even proportion of blade to handle ratio. The G-10 handle fits comfortably in my large hands, but it feels and looks rather cheap at first glance. Then I tried to flex it, no movement whatsoever, try that with FRN........... I also reminded myself quickly that this is a user, not a looker.
I will post a more complete review later after I get a chance to use and abuse it.

Excellent news indeed. I had no idea knifeworks had the new S30V military's.

I'll check with Roger first, just to be 100% sure that's what he'll be sending when I order one.

Thanks for the great news.

Military's will be produced in S30V, huh? I could not find any at the site mentioned above; could anyone elaborate on when and where these will be available, or anything else on this topic?

Thanks, Christiaan.

Christiaan, if you check out the "Military in S30V?" thread by Connor over on the other Spydie forum, it should fill in the blanks.

Ehh.. I cannot seem to find it, could you post a link? Maybe I've got the wrong forum, which 'other forum' do you mean?

Thanks, Christiaan.

EDIT: no, wait, I found it after all.. thanks..
