Military, safest linerlock knife?

I just realised yesterday, after playing with my Military, that it must be one of the "safest" linerlock knives out there. Gripping the Mil with the index finger over the linerlock cutout will prevent the finger being cut, if the linerlock should disengage, due to the fact that the forward bottom choil instead of the cutting edge will hit the finger.

Yes. Or, you could grip it with your middle finger over the lock area, and your index finger on the choil (choked up), and it would inhibit it folding even if it came unlocked. Or, at least you'd likely get some warning before it let go.

Hello,

This is a real strong feature of the Military.

Cheers,

JM

When I was there Patrick showed me the famous "breaking machine". He told me that without a doubt the Military won hands down when compared to other "name" knives, and on the table I spied an intrigal locking semi-custom that is regailed in song and story, that fared no better than the Military. Granted, Patrick may have a biased opinion, but he said flat out that the Military would beat out all other knives for strength, sharpness, useability, and price (out performing other knives costing more).

I would like to see a website with the numbers, but I am now back in the Syder's web, cuz my new Military (that my wife insisted I buy after Patrick's teaching and the price we found it for at the SFO)ROCKS.
My AFCK still does primary fighting duty, but the Military is my user.
