Military Sleep System.

I do, woodland camo. I just can't justify a high end winter down bag yet, and I like how easy it is to modify by adding or removing sections so I can use it in the cooler parts of spring and fall. Once summer comes I swap it out for a lighter bag that I can compress and stuff in my backpack. Other than that the MIL system is pretty much hauled in by canoe or sled.
 
3Bs: Big, Bulky, and a Bitch to carry.

Better options available for most peoples' needs.

WTH? Is this because it took a while for someone to respond? It's pretty common to not get a response, or many responses (for me anyway). For a while every thread I posted to seemed to die just after that. I've been checking out your threads and reviews and enjoyed/learned from them. I just didn't respond because I had nothing to add. I was puzzled by your Wal-Mart tent thread disappearing for awhile. It was a great thread. If you want action, you need buzz words like Busse, Kershaw, Batonning, or Survival Knife:D If I'm misunderstanding this, then my apologies. Take care.
