Besides s30v, any reason i should get a military if i've got a resilience? Sure we could argue fit and finish etc but I seem perfectly happy with the FnF on this one. I like the larger blade too.

If you have the money, I would get the Mili., but the Resilience is a great knife in it's own right, for the price.
I just recently aquired an M390 model, digital camo Military and I can't put it down.
Sam Owens has carried a Resilience since I gave him one on Christmas, 2010. Considering all the work he does on his job and around his old farmhouse, and that he makes his own excellent small knives, that's saying something.
I prefer the shape of the Military blade over that of the Resilience blade shape. I like the tip up carry of the Resilience over the Military tip down. Both knives are well made and perform well on the casual cutting tasks for which I've used them. Both knives are a bit too large for me to carry daily. If I had to choose one over the other, I'd go with the Military.
The Military gives you about the same size knife, but the chassis system makes it much lighter and faster. It's smoother than the Resilience, thinner for doing fine tasks and offers better traction. It is a far superior knife for edc tasks in my opinion but, at 5 times the cost, no it is not worth that much more in general performance. Hope that helps
You can carry it tip up.
m390 would make it worth it if I didn't pay an arm and a leg, but I only went out of my way to buy a knife in s30v once (s30v blur instead of sandvik) and decided in my budget (sub 150) if I have the option of a similar knife in non super steels. Minor differences like a choil aren't a deal breaker either. I was going to grab a military down the line as an entry to spyderco but opted to grab a resilience now just to see what the fuss is about, I love it, but even looking at video reviews of the differences, I feel like it'd be diminishing returns for me.
