Militec-1 compensates for Ti-Lite design flaw

Upon arrival of my zytel handled Ti-Lite I was immediately dissapointed with the design (placement) of the thumbstud. It is very close to the handle when closed and sits very flush with it as well. A strong detent made this knife impossible for me to open by thumbstud. Also the knife did not open easily as advertised on the "More Proof":jerkit: DVD with the "allegedly stolen" wave feature.
So I killed two birds with one stone and e-mailed Militec-1 for a free sample of their much talked about lube which arrived very quickly through the mail in two business days from Maryland down here to Texas. They paid $0.49 postage to send me something free-AMAZING:thumbup:
After reading Gollnick's (well spoken genius, btw) Militec-1 application tips I have noticed a dramatic improvement in this knife's function. It open effortlessly by the thumbstud and now it "waves" open with less destruction of my pocket and pivot since less force is needed.
Our country needs more stand up companies like Militec-1 for their product quality and superb customer relations. They have a customer for life! Now I wish I still had my Glock 23 and HK USP/C .40 to see how much better they would have performed with Militec-1.
Anyone else have simliar results?

I never believed any of the hype until two years ago. I bought a CETME semi-auto that would not cycle after the first round, the action was so stiff that the bolt would not go back far enough to strip off the next round. I had already followed the advice from another forum regarding break-in, but it didn't work and this was my second failed trip to the range. I had the small sample bottle of Militec-1 with me and as a last resort I applied a few drops on all the contact points, I was so frustrated I didn't even clean the old lube off. Well after shooting like a single action for another 10 rounds it started to cycle like it should and has never failed to fire again. It could all be a coincidence , but I'm a believer , I use Militec-1 on all my firearms and folding knives as a lube, but it's not a rust inhibitor...

Benchmade knives come from the factory lubed with Militec-1 , it has a very distinctive smell and you can smell it when you open a new Benchmade knife.

Militec is as good as any lubricant out there. A little goes a long way, and seems to last forever without drying off.

Doesn't attract crud either.
