I've been contemplating ordering a custom M8 and M4s from MBB for some months now. But at the tune of $1,200 I wouldn't mind hearing from anyone that has or has had one of their blades. Also, I know they specialize in 5160 (which their test videos make look mighty impressive), but they do make blades from CPM 3V. Anyone have experience in the difference between these two steels?

I have a miller bros m8 compact in 5160. It really is a nice, very stout, solid knife. 5/16" thick with a high ground bevel for sharper edge on a thick blade. I have absolutely no complaints about this knife. Definitely worth the money in my humble opinion. Tough, comfortable, and easy to handle.
