Does anyone have a picture or two of the Military and Paramilitary side by side, or can point me in the direction of a previous post that has one.

I own a Para, my first spyderco knife and could not have asked for more. Congrats to Sal and Spyderco, you make a fine product.
Will probably purchase it's big brother, the military, but as Perth W.Australia has no knife shops that carry quality knives, I have to make my purchasing decisions based on forums and recomendations and thus my request for a side by side pic to get a feel for the size difference.

I hope this helps. The size difference is considerable if you aks me and that's a good thing. I feel more comfortable carrying the Para-Military because of its socially more acceptable size.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but what's with the blade/handle ratio on the Mili and Para-mili? It seems a bit...off.

Blade / handle ratio does look a bit off, but I think Sal builds knives for function and these knives are very functional.
 
I get mine this Thursday along with a SS Dragonfly.

Full, flat ground blades are fantastic.
