There is a chance that I might be able to get a millie CF S90v for $200+. I can also get a Orange Millie + a caly3 PE for about the same price. Which one would you pick? Is the S90v and CF worth it over the orange millie and caly3?

Depends. If it's a safe queen, no it's not. Better to point me to the link and let me have it. :D

If you are going to use it and truly appreciate it's value then yes it is absolutely worth it. S90V is a great steel, a large step up from S30V. The CF handles are a dream too.

and you like Orange, go that route but if you need extreme edge holding or you are a collector, go with the S90V.

If you plan to use them I would go for a G-10 Millie and the Caly 3. Great small/large combo:thumbup:
I love and use both and of mine, and S30V is a great all around steel:thumbup:
I would also love to have a CF/S90V millie though! Tough question!

If you can get a S90V millie do not wait, buy it now. Too good of a knife not to have.

At the end of the day buy what's going to be most useful yo you. I don't buy knives I'm not going to use. Personally I'd be going for the S90V Millie as a High performance User....obviously I'm not a collector.

I really want the s90v millie, but $200+ is a lot of money. I'm sure if I get it, it will become a safe queen. That is just too expensive and pretty to be using. I might change my mind later though.

Sang--- you don't have to use all your knives...it's ok. Keep some pure. ;)

I have Millies in CF s90v bg42 s30v -D2 as well! Love the Orange one too I have 2 of those!

Last I have a few Para's and an OLD 440v that is over 15 years old-its and EDC!

Have fun with the best Spyderco knife I think!

The first time you put S90V through a workout you will change your mind about it being a safe queen.

I have a D2 para that is currently in safe queen status...well it's only been a week though. I currently use my caly3 SE for EDC (the para and caly3 were my first "real" knives). If the D2 para is a safe queen, I'm sure I'll make the s90v a safe queen too.:D

I'd rather have 2 knives than 1.

+1, especially when it's two great models. There may be a difference in performance in favor of the S90V, but it's not better than you'd get out of two blades. Plus, you'd have a large and a small knife for different situations and/or different days of the week. That's what I'd do. You do whatever you think would make you the happiest.
