I usually find that when a company doesn't bother to list steel, it ends up being 440a at best, or 420j2 or 3cr13 at worst... generally just don't bother.
It's sad really, since they seem to have nice cnc, waterjet and manufacturing capabilities.
Based on what I know of their production, I'd be surprised if it was not at least S30V. But generally, I agree- if they aren't listing their steel it's cause for suspicion.
In Millit's case, I'd wager it's poor web management. Frustrating.
