MIM 440C. Any thoughts?

It seems that some of the gun people disparage MIM parts as a short cut to avoid complex machining operations. MIM knife parts seem to be available mostly in 440C which is not a particularly high tech alloy. David Boye Dendritic Steel blades are cast 440C.

The Offset's a cool knife. Thomas W gave me one and I ended up giving it to my dad because he always liked it the best out of all my knives. He carries it around in his tank bag on his motorcycle.
