Mineral Mountain Paramedic Axe

I just found my Mineral Mountain paramedic axe made by Ted that I got new way back
1992. it was stashed inside one of my bug-out packs which I thought
I lost. Gee what a hunk of 5160 never been used and I think because of
its age Itll be a safe queen. Has anyone here used a Mineral Mountain Hatchet? Please let me know and why was it called a paramedic?
I think we already had the pneumatic Jaws of life back in the 90's?

I got training on the "jaws" back in about 1973 and they had been out a while even back then.
