I've created a simple web site for Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works. It's by no means complete- only about half of his knives/swords are included so far, but I will be adding more as time permits.

Check it out:

Thanks for telling us about the new site. I've been interested in his work for a while.

One small issue.

The Deep Woods Bowie page shows the Deep Woods Bowie, and the Survival Bowie Page shows the Deep Woods Bowie.

Click on Knives for the message:

All swords are made with 1095 Spring Steel and are finished with a non-glare, rust-resistant parkerization.

Click on Swords for the message:

All swords are made with 5160 Spring Steel and are finished with a non-glare, rust-resistant parkerization.

The first, of course, should read:

All knives are made with 1095 Spring Steel ...

Thanks, MDP! I've fixed the problem.

BTW, any suggestions are very appreciated- obviously the site is in it's fledling stage, and we are open for ideas.

Esav- you must have posted your message while I was posting mine! Thanks- the problem is fixed. Boy, I need to be a little more lucid when typing these pages! Sometimes I get a little cocky when "whipping up" simple HTML and don't pay attention to what I'm doing. Duh...

Thanks again!

I have been interested in the Frizzells for a couple of years now.

And, I would get their full catalog online as soon as possible, because I think that the wealth of patterns and varieties they make is one of their greatest assets.

Also, I would encourage them to offer a machine satin finish on their knives. There exist a number of enthusiasts who do not appreciate, and will not buy black knives.

And another thing, other micarta color options.

Given their variety, and inexpensive price point, I see no reason that they could not rise to the popularity level of Dozier or Greco.

Thanks Marion. I have forwarded your comments to Ted. BTW, I agree with all of your points and will be adding more products as time permits (within the next few days).

Thanks again,

John

I agree with the 'satin finish' suggestion of Marion's, and am one such 'enthusiast'. At least make it an option on some of the selections.

Have been trying to find info on MMHW since I first saw it on A.G.Russell's site. Thanks for putting it up.
