For those of you waiting for the CQC-7 mini, a "usual dealer" has them advertised on the dealers forum. I did not ask if there were any plain edge blades available, ....the part serrated is pictured. Nice price too! Link to his page:

These are cute, and as everyone knows, totally harmless with their 3" blade length....

I emailed them this morning to see if they could get any plain edged ones....
want something to take over for my "dainty" mini-socom.

AND....zyxxix posted (in another thread) that Knife Center has three variations of the mini '7 available. They are tough to find on the site, but click on the pull-down menu "new additions" and page through until you get to the "Es."

I ask you - is is SO hard to put a damn PLAIN edge on the tanto blade?!?! GOD this is frustrating. KnifeCenter has a spearpoint, plain edge, beadblast finish, a plain edge, spearpoint, black-t finish, a spearpoint, combo edge, beadblast finish, and one stinkin' tanto blade with the COMBO edge!!!!!

Who wants a tanto when you can have a spear point?

I have one of the new mini's and LOVE it. Talk about being as close to perfect as you can get.
