Thanks to fastlt1nos on Instagram I got my Emerson Mini A-100 done.
I asked for slim grey scales but the color turned out very light grey which I didn't like:
The scales are much slimmer than stock, probably about 2/3 the thickness and contoured, which I wanted instead of the usual 2x4 blocky feel of the stock model. Andrew had to shorten the stop pin and pivot barrel slightly:
It gave me the chance to try RIT Dye for the first time. Dyeing was easy... the hard part was getting the color that I wanted. I started with Frost Grey and it turned out kind of light grey with light purple tone, so I bought Graphite and I went darker than I wanted but still came out looking awesome.
Now waiting for my Persian to be done!
