I like my Mini because it fits my hand well. I like the regular and use it when I need more heft. I did a few mods to suit me better:
1. Grind blade thinner and a higher grind for better slicing. This is a small knife!
2. Install a new, small clip and place it higher up.(less exposure)
3. Make handle slightly thinner by installing thinner washers and of course mill spacer down to match.
Could cut slots out of the liners to reduce weight but it's already light.
This is a tough and easy to handle knife, with a very sharp edge.:D

Nice work. I like that high grind. Bet it slices like crazy, and it looks good.

Looks great!!
Since receiving mine a month ago, it has spent the majority of its time as an edc You did a fine job.

Beautiful mods!!

Can we get some more pics? One of the right side open and a side view of it closed?

Thanks!

I have a Mini-100 coming and should be here Tuesday. I love the looks of this knife. I really like the grind you have put on your 100. I will send mine to Tom Krein for one of his regrinds. This model really appeals to me. I read in Blade mag years ago that this was a handmade version by Ernie that I think was the Bumblebee. I always wanted one and this production model is perfect and much more affordable. Mine is the black blade but it was the only model I could find.

Hello Rolf.

Thanks all!
This was a black blade, although I don't like BB's, I knew I would be grinding it off.

Does anyone know when the Mini's in satin are going to become available for sale? I'm jonesing bad for one of these. Thanks.
