Having just read through one of the recent articles on "axis" locks, one of the forum members stated:
"My third point is admittedly the weakest, but it seems either BM or practicality has imposed a size limit of 3.9 inches (the 710 size, as stated by BM) on their blades. Not necessarily a disadvantage to most, but some may see this as a drawback."
This got me thinking.
I have a older Mini AFCK which I think is a terrific knife (regardless of the liner lock). I also have the mini TSEK as well as 2 mini-grips (556 & 551) which again, I really like. (Got a Ritter on the way as well
)
Why doesn't BM make a mini AFCK with the zxis lock now, since the mini grips have always appeared to be a good seller and their blade size is only ~3" ... which is approximately the same as my old AFCK.
I'd love to get a mini AFCK with an axis lock!
(The 806 and 805 are way too big for me
)
Anyone know why BM never produced these "baby's"?
Joe
